1. What are my initial thoughts about this lesson? Was there a particular word or phrase or idea that spoke to me – something surprising or challenging or comforting or joyful?  How might the Lord be speaking to me through this lesson

Do I have faith in the Holy Spirit as the protagonist of evangelization, as Pope Francis instructs, or do I perhaps tend to place my trust primarily in institutional projects and programs, or perhaps in my own abilities or initiatives? How might I more fully invite the Holy Spirit and his work into my prayer life? 

3. In this lesson, Pope Francis explains that the work of the Holy Spirit is always characterized by creativity and simplicity.  What might I do to foster greater creativity and simplicity in my efforts to witness the Gospel to others?  How might creativity and simplicity relate to what Pope Francis calls the “first proclamation”?
