- What are my initial thoughts about this lesson? Was there a particular word or phrase or idea that spoke to me – something surprising or challenging or comforting or joyful? How might the Lord be speaking to me through this lesson?
- Pope Francis teaches that to evangelize we must have a pastoral heart like that of Jesus, that is, a heart that suffers and takes risks. Practically speaking, what might that look like in my daily life? Why might I be hesitant to suffer and take risks to evangelize?

Seeing our Lord Jesus pray, has to be one of the most beautiful things ever to behold. We must pray as our Lord did. That means laying our lives down for the sheep, as Jesus did. We must imitate Him. Though it takes time and dedication, we must do this. We must pray and do better. Serve more judge less…
Our actions speak louder than words. We must open our heart to not only hear the Gospel, but be doers, as well.
