  1. What are my initial thoughts about this lesson? Was there a particular word or phrase or idea that spoke to me – something surprising or challenging or comforting or joyful?  How might the Lord be speaking to me through this lesson?
  2. Pope Francis teaches that to evangelize we must have a pastoral heart like that of Jesus, that is, a heart that suffers and takes risks.  Practically speaking, what might that look like in my daily life?  Why might I be hesitant to suffer and take risks to evangelize?
