Hi everyone! I am Mikka Aytona, a nurse and a teacher. I wanted to be a catechist in our catholic center for campus ministry which is why I enrolled here in the Catechist Certification Course to broaden my knowledge in catechism and to properly impart my learnings of catechism to the youth. I’m Mark Esguerra (username Katekista -Filipino for Catechist). I am an Art and Music teacher at a parochial school in the Archdiocese of Las Vegas. We were asked by our administration to renew our Catechist certification this year. I joined this online program to complete the certification. I’m looking forward to this youth discussion group because this is the age group I minister to in the classroom. Thank you for your kind accommodation.

I’m glad you found our Catechist Certification course. I would like to recommend that you look for a Catechist Certification opportunity within your diocese, that you can do with others who are taking the same course. Faith formation happens in community with others, so you will do better to find something there. We will stay in touch with you.
